Unexpected Experiences

This space holds moments when the work naturally finds its way beyond the studio. My participation in exhibitions and creative gatherings is not something I actively pursue, but something I remain open to experiencing when it arrives.

Here you’ll find reflections and photographs from those occasions,  including gallery showings and other unexpected appearances of the work in the world. If more of these moments unfold, they will live here as part of the journey.

First Exposure

February 15, 2026

Heart Soul & Art, Marietta, GA
Exhibition Theme: “Something Red”

My first gallery showing found me here.

The exhibition, Something Red, invited artists to explore the force of red, fire and blood, love and rage, sensuality and danger, courage and rebellion. Red is not passive; it commands attention, activates emotion, and refuses to be ignored.

I had never worked with red to this extent before. Creating this piece required me to stretch beyond my comfort zone and expand my imagination in ways I had not explored previously. There was hesitation in the process and also curiosity.

Yet I followed the pull and completed the work.

Whatever unfolds next, I can now proudly add to my life résumé that my art has been part of a gallery showing,  an experience that arrived organically and opened a new door in my creative journey.
